A TRUE STORY

My name is Teresa Hines and this is a love story. The poem on this plaque was written for me by my husband, Police Captain Harvey C. Hines. It so touched my heart, that I want to share it with other wives in this most dangerous profession.

My husband told me in the words of his poem, written with beauty and understanding, what he could never express otherwise. At my urging, my husband has copywritten and published this "Tribute" for others to share.

It's not easy being a Cop's Wife

When you and I are gone, your kids and grandkids will look at this heirloom plaque; they will understand how you felt about your wife and what you did for a living.
